The Genesee Country Village & Museum is a living history museum in Mumford, NY. Founded in 1976, the museum is a collection of 64 historic buildings spanning from the early 19th century to the early 20th century. Each building was brought from its original location around the state of New York to the museum site, where it was restored and opened to the public.
I had the opportunity to create the graphics for the exhibition celebrating the museum’s 50th anniversary. I created the visual identity using shapes from stencils seen in one of the historic buildings and the colors of the museum’s branding. I designed the title graphic, wall boards, labels, and formatted photos to be printed at large scale. The exhibition opened for the first day of the 2026 season on March 1st, and will be up until October 2027.
